I am a proud mother of a beautiful little girl named Isabela, who was born on May 16, 2005. I feel fortunate and blessed to be able to incorporate my "past" career as a teacher and love of Latin dancing by becoming a Licensed Owner and Dance Instructor of Salsa Babies and Salsa Tots for the Toronto district. Being a part of the world of Salsa Babies has not only allowed me the opportunity to meet fabulous new mothers and their babies but the privilege to spend my days dancing and laughing alongside my precious daughter! I look forward to dancing with you and your little ones!

I saw an advertisement for Salsa Babies when I was expecting my first baby and put it aside for when my little dance partner was to arrive.  Jessica and I took Salsa Babies together when she was three months old and we both loved it so much I couldn't say no when Maria offered me the opportunity to teach Salsa Babies and Salsa Tots!  Now I get to bring this same great experience to other new moms who are looking for a way to get fit with their little dance partners close by.

My name is Alejandra, but you can call me Alex. I grew up in Mexico City, Mexico and have been dancing Salsa and other Latin dances since I started to walk! I studied dance formally for many years, and am very passionate about both my culture and dancing. I'm very excited to be involved with Salsa tots because I love the opportunity to have a weekly fiesta with some amazing tots and moms, and it gives me great pleasure to see the kids in my class enjoying themselves and having fun! Seeing their enthusiasm and joy is contagious and really brings out the inner child in me and all the grown-ups in the class.

Hola everyone! With a master’s degree in music and a background in music education, I have been teaching music to children and adults alike for the past 9 years, and have been performing on stage my whole life. As a dancer I have studied ballet, jazz, Eastern European folk, and belly dance. About 6 years ago my husband introduced me to salsa, meringue and bachata, and I was completely hooked and haven't stopped dancing them since! I am so excited to be part of the Salsa Tots and Salsa Babies team as these programs let me combine and share my passion for music, dance and Latin rhythms with moms and their little ones. I can't wait to meet you all, and am ready for the grand fiesta that each class will be! Olé!

My name is Robyn and I am so excited to have been welcomed onto the wonderful Salsa Babies and Tots Team! I have only ever worked with children in my life and have a strong passion for continuing to love them and bring smiles to all of their faces! With many years of professional training in various forms of dance, as well as my love for dancing for fun, Salsa Babies has given me the opportunity to combine both of these things with a burst of energy! It brings a huge smile to my own face whenever I am given the chance to combine beautiful babies and amazing kids alongside their wonderful parents all while having an awesome time dancing and feeling great! With each new class I look forward to meeting you and your most favourite dance partner and can't wait to start feeling the beat!

Every since I was a little girl, I loved to dance. To this day, I canʼt sit still if I hear that pulsing rhythm that tickles my spine, such as meringue and salsa. So when I was introduced to Salsa Babies, I could not wait to come on board. As a personal trainer and fitness instructor, I believe that Salsa Babies is an excellent way to for new moms to start moving and feeling good, all the while having so much fun and bonding with their little ones and other new moms. I look forward to sharing with you the latest in Latin dancing while exploring the joys of motherhood, as I hope to learn just as much from you.
